Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of taybl. The most important parts are about the content you upload: what you promise about it, what you keep, and what you allow us to do with it in order to run the service.

Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using taybl you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher) to have an account.
Your account
Keep your credentials secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under it. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You can delete your account at any time from your Account page.
You keep ownership of what you upload
Your rulebooks, art, board images, and the game definitions you build remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.
The permission we need to run the service
To operate taybl we need a limited licence to your content: permission to store it, process it, adapt its format, and display it back to you and to the players you share a game with. If you PUBLISH a game, that licence extends to showing it publicly on taybl — including its name, description, cover image, and playable definition. This licence exists only so the product can function; it is worldwide and royalty-free because serving files and rendering tables requires that, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from residual copies in routine backups which age out on their normal schedule. We do not use your content to advertise, and we do not license it to third parties.
What you promise about your uploads
You promise that you own the content you upload, or otherwise have the rights needed to upload it and to let us do the things described above. Most published board games are protected by copyright: a game's RULES are generally not protectable, but its rulebook text, board art, card art, and illustrations usually are. Uploading a commercial game's artwork or rulebook that you did not create, and do not have permission to use, may infringe someone's rights — and publishing it certainly can. Private use of a copy you own is a different situation from publishing to the public catalogue; please treat it that way.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on taybl infringes your copyright, email admin@tayblgames.com with: the work you say is infringed, the address of the taybl page hosting the material, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them, and your signature. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the material and notify the user, who may respond with a counter-notice. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Acceptable use
Do not use taybl to upload or publish anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or malicious (malware, or files designed to attack other users). Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or other people's accounts; do not scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others; and do not resell access. Do not abuse the AI features to generate unlawful material or to evade usage limits.
AI-generated output
taybl can use AI to turn your uploads into a playable table. The output is produced from YOUR content and is yours to use; as between you and us we claim no ownership of it. AI output can be wrong — a generated table may misread your rules or lay out components incorrectly — so review it before publishing. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. See the AI Disclosure page for how the generation works.
Usage limits
AI generation costs real money to run, so accounts have a monthly allowance and uploads have size limits. If you hit a limit the AI features pause until the next month; the rest of taybl keeps working. Email admin@tayblgames.com if you need more room. We may adjust these limits as the service evolves.
Service availability
taybl is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — we take backups, but they are for our disaster recovery, not a substitute for your own.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that creates legal risk for us or other users, or that we are required to act against. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right. You may stop using taybl and delete your account at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill arising from your use of taybl. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the narrowest permitted exclusion applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as taybl changes. We will update the date on this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use taybl after a change means the updated terms apply.
